I decided to start a virtual book club.
Welcome to the Literati Socialite’s Book Club.
The purpose of this virtual book club is to bring together my friends who love books, but due to the rest of our lives, can barely find time in the day to read, less get together for good food & drinks! Thus, this virtual book club will give us a reason to find time in our days to sit back, relax and curl up with a good (or bad) book…it will allow you to use the excuse, “Sorry, I can’t, I have to read for my book club” legitimately.
I will make sure the forum is interactive, thought-provoking and fun. My only requirement is you have to participate!
And with on-going effort to make this as dorky as possible, I will coordinate gatherings where we will find time step outside the virtual realm and into the real world to further discuss the book, swap books, recommend books…and best of all, eat delicious food & play board games!
This is still a big WORK IN PROGRESS, so please be patient with me as I continually work to get this book club started. As soon as I determine the logistics, I will be sure to let you know the when the launch date is.
